Suite Office Systems installed the voice, data, video and security cabling in this newly constructed high school. We were on site throughout the entire building project to keep up with the general contractor’s fast-paced schedule. This school received over 1,000 category 6 voice/data cables, several miles of 10 Gig fiber optic cabling and 6 wiring/LAN closets. It is equipped with over 125 IP surveillance cameras. The school sits on 50+ acres, making it a challenge to install cameras that would properly cover the parking areas. We achieved this by running fiber optic cables underground to light poles. The fiber also alleviated the need for lightning protection in the wide open space.
